I came to J San Ramen and ordered their spicy miso ramen. The food was pretty good overall. The noodles were chewy and broth was really good. I just wished the soup was hot because the soup was lukewarm when it was served to me. I enjoyed the toppings that they added to my ramen. The restaurant was pretty spacious with seats. There's plenty of parking available in the plaza too!
Solid ramen spot! I ordered the spicy miso tonkatsu ramen over the phone and it was a pretty smooth experience. I live close by and was told it would be ready in 7 minutes, so when I showed up shortly after it was, indeed, ready for me. The space itself is a decent sized casual eatery in a shopping mall with plenty of outdoor seating so if you wanted to come by on a nicer day and eat outside you probably could. Takeout order came with ramen, meat, and vegetables in one bowl while the broth was in another container. It was nice and hot when I brought it back. The portion was pretty standard and there was actually enough broth to replenish the dish midway through. The broth was very flavorful with a tolerable amount of heat (but if you really like heavily spicy food you'd probably be left wanting a stronger punch. There was a good amount of chashu proportional to the other parts of the dish, and the chashu itself had a nice flavor. Overall I would come back here/get takeout again.
This was my first time trying this Ramen place and overall it was good. I chose the chicken Ramen because I can't do the fatty pork. The broth's flavor was pretty good, but not the absolute best I've ever had. The noodles were cooked well, and they gave me ample broth, overflowing the bowl.
I called in a pickup order and the employee was so helpful! Sounded like a young female. She helped me order spicy ramen for my husband, the tonkatsu miso for me, and plain ramen for my kids. We all loved it!!! Put together well, huge portions- I have leftovers for lunch! She said the curry is really good so I bet my husband will try that next time.
It is my first time here, and I'm delicious food. The server is welcome. The place is excellent, and I like all the peaceful eating ways. Sherryl, she's fantastic. She approached the table every other time, asking if we needed anything else and how the food was. That's a great thing about this place. I highly recommend this place to enjoy the beautiful, unique, and grateful ramen
